Cancellation - Refund Conditions

No entry fee can be refunded. However, upon presentation of a medical certificate, the registration will be carried free of charge at the next edition. For registrations made on our website (via Datasport) no report will be made because a cancellation insurance is proposed.

Changing rooms

Lausanne: men and women, pool Bellerive, gym college-Auguste Piccard.

La Tour-de-Peilz: 200 m. departure, the gym of the college of Marronniers and of Courbet.

Clothes Transport

Concerns 10 km, ½ marathon and marathon. Clothing may be placed in bags with race number sticker (distributed by the organizer at the Marathon Expo). They will be transported by the organizer to the Maratho Expo (lake side).

Course - time limited to 1 / 2 marathon

Runners who have not passed the 20 km mark by 1.00 p.m. will be stopped. After 3.30 pm. the security measures will be removed step by step from the course and the runners must respect normal road rules from that time on.

Disqualification

No outside help in any shape or form is allowed. The start number must to be worn so that the number is easily visible as well as the sponsors publicity. Cyclists are not allowed on the course. All accompanied runners will be disqualified.

Carsharing

If you want to come to Lausanne by the car, please think about carsharing! E-Carsharing.ch is the swiss plattform for carsharing to bring driver and passengers together for occasional or regular ones stretches.

Insurance

Insurance is a matter for each participant. The organization accepts no liability for theft, damage and injury.

Lost

The lost can be recovered in the info booth at the Expo October 29-30 & 31. On 1st November from 11.00 am in the info booth on the dock in front of the Hotel d'Angleterre.

The 19th edition of the Lausanne Marathon will take place on Sunday, October 30th, 2011.

Pasta party

Pasta Party is offered to all runners on the boat "Le Lausanne" at the ouchy landing place, saturday 30th october from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Public transport in Lausanne

Provide public transport for free, October 31, free tour with M2 (metro) and bus number 2.

Ranking

All classifications will be established with the time clock net participants, as the start of the block.

Starting Blocks

No starting block changes are allowed on the spot. Runners registering on the day start from the last blocks. Starting blocks are assigned on the basis of the reference times indicated on registration or the most recent results. For any reference time data change, please complete the form provided on our website at the latest 5 days before the race. No applications will be taken into account after that deadline.

Timing

The timing chip having fixed to the back of your number is ownership of Datasport. You must giveit back at the arrival. In case of loss, we will charge you CHF 55.-. In case of abandonment or of withdrawal, please return your chip by post, wrapped and protected from a cardboard so that the envelope is not torn during mail sorting. Point out your size and we willl send you your technical T-shirt: Lausanne Marathon –  Av. de Rhodanie 54 – 1007 Lausanne.

Valuable items

The valuables may be deposited upon receipt of the pool of Bellerive.
